This is a salsa social held in a large dance studio with excellent wooden
dance floor, mirror walls, professional sound system. There is a
full bar/lounge/cafe which serves beverages and casual snacks. It is
open bar as part of this birthday celebration.

DJ Porfirio Gutierrez
has been a part of our NYC On 2 mambo community for more than a decade,
attending many of our events and running a salsa social in Brooklyn for
years. He is also a very nice, friendly and modest guy, a friend to
many. At this event he is celebrating his birthday and he invites
the New York metro area salsa dancers to come and join him. He is
joined in the DJ booth by
DJ Babaloo .

Discount Parking
Garage Available: The studio is
on 34th Street between 5th & 6th Avenues. There is a parking garage
available at GGMC Parking, 325 5th Avenue, 212-725-4102.
They give a discount to people who come to the DanceSport Studio.
The entrance to the parking garage is on 33rd Street between 5th & Madison
Avenues, and 33rd Street is a one-way street heading west. So when
you come up Madison Avenue, turn left onto 33rd Street.
Parking fee is $10 after 5pm; $20 before 5pm.
Special price does not apply to oversized vehicles (cargo
vans). Remember to have your parking ticket stamped by the
DanceSport staff so that you get this discount.
