DESCRIPTION |
Edison Hidalgo presents this classic salsa social held in a big comfortable space with the capacity for a lot of couples dancing together. There's room for plenty of dancers plus chairs surrounding the dance floor for relaxing and socializing. He has created this event to appeal to the pure On 2 salsa lovers, so they can have a downtown venue to dance in and hang out with other salseros. The crowd is nicely diverse in terms of age, their dance background, where they live, how long they've been on our NY salsa scene, but they all have one thing in common: they love mambo dancing. DJ Ray Vega "El Maestro De La Salsa" plays plenty of classic salsa plus a little cha cha, bachata & more .
Edison Hidalgo has both been on the scene for quite a while and attends the events of several different On 2 studios, and his goal is to bring everyone together for a great night of dancing. His especially known for his photos and videos of salsa dancing taking place in many locations in the NYC mambo community.
